On October 15th, twin town halls were hosted by NBC and ABC, with NBC interviewing Trump and ABC, Biden. After the Presidential debate that was supposed to be held the 15th was cancelled due to COVID-19, Biden scheduled a town hall in Philadelphia. Controversially, Trump later scheduled one for the same day. These simultaneous appearances offered a contrast between the two candidates. Trump, moderated by Savannah Guthrie, was grilled on some of his disputed followers including QAnon. Biden was asked about how his plan to eliminate fossil fuels included not shutting down fracking. Neither performance was outstandingly good nor bad. Will these two come head to head again in another debate? We will see.
